GREEN ROOF SYSTEMS

GREEN ROOF SYSTEMS
Tuesday, February 10, 11:30am-1:30pm – REI Community Room, 1789 28th Street , Boulder
While there are many different types of roof and water proofing systems that contain a landscaped or Green Roof System, single ply membrane roofing materials are among the most cost effective and efficient ways to contain a GRS. Join Boulder Green Building Guild for a presentation of the pros and cons of EPDM, TPO, PVC and liquid rubber roof systems and why insulated taper is so important for the proper drainage of Green Roof Systems. David Coddington is the owner of 3R Roofing LLC, a local roofing contractor with a focus on energy efficient and resource conscious roof systems and the initiator of the Roofs to Roads Project, the first road paving endeavor in the State of Colorado to use recycled asphalt shingles (RAS). Andy Creath, LEED AP, is the owner of Green Roofs of Colorado, a Boulder based green roof design, installation, and maintenance company. Free for BGBG members, $20 for non-members. View the website.
